Enough power to do justice to your favorite music, with soaring highs and detailed mids plus, with its bass boosting technology, you can add even more low end power. The equalizer with four presets lets you adjust the sound to suit pop, rock, jazz or classical music. The Pioneer X-EM21 micro stereo has a wide range of input options. Use the iPod dock on top to connect and play music from your iPhone or iPod. Plug in a USB stick or hard drive to play MP3 or WMA music files copied from your computer. There is even an Aux-in port to connect music players that don't have a suitable docking connector, using a 3.5 mm stereo cable.

If you haven't got around to converting that latest music CD purchase to digital, the Pioneer X-EM21 has you covered. Just insert your disk in the tray and play it directly, or if you've copied music files to a CD instead of a USB stick it will handle playing CD's containing MP3 or WMA files. If you can't decide on what to play from your own music collection, the Pioneer X-EM21 also includes a built-in FM tuner so you can listen to your favourite radio stations and it lets you store them via presets.

Users report that the LCD screen is easy to see and the unit even has a clock and sleep timer. If you don't want to annoy the rest of your family or your neighours the Pioneer X-EM21 has a handy 3.5 mm headphone jack. In APS mode if the unit is inactive for 15 mins it automatically switches to standby mode and displays the clock.
